The Claims Process
Response: We at Americas pride ourselves with prompt response to our insureds when they suffer a loss. You, as an insured with the Americas Insurance Company, can expect to be contacted within 24 hours of your reported loss. Your property will be inspected by one of our competent claims companies within 72 hours. In a major catastrophe, these time promises sometimes can’t be kept due to several hundred claims, but we will give you our undivided attention once we meet with you and inspect your damages.
Reporting a claim
You can report a claim by contacting us or reaching our Claims Office by calling us at (504) 528-9555 (or at our toll-free number 1-800-742-3109) during our business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. To expedite the process, please have your policy number on hand.
