Understanding Dwelling Insurance.
Dwelling Insurance from Americas Insurance Company protects the building you live in and any attached structures, including rental properties, by helping to pay for damages that result from a covered incident. Depending on your specific policy options, it can also include additional coverage for personal property or provide additional living expenses if your property becomes uninhabitable due to a covered loss.
Coverage for Damage.
While not as comprehensive as a complete Homeowners policy, some people may find that Dwelling coverage is enough to meet their needs, especially if the home doesn’t qualify as a main residence of living, or house as much in valuables and possessions inside it.

What else is Covered with Dwelling Insurance?
Dwelling insurance policies can additionally cover the loss of owed rent fees, liability and medical cases, and can even cover the contents of the home and its attached structures. We highly recommend calling your local agent to discuss whether Dwelling Insurance is a better fit for you, since the differences in policies can often be tailored to your specific needs. Americas is proud to offer affordable, flexible insurance to insure all your assets.
